so long farewell...

I just came back from sending my friends who are posted to Kota Marudu,Sabah at KLIA. There are three of them (Faa,Dayah and Yao) from seven who are supposed to go to Sabah. I was told that the other four are not coming. They are not planning to go, I guess. Whatever it is, they must have their own reasons that I think, we should respect...I know that some of them really want to go to Sabah to teach but because of disapproval from parents, they could not make their dreams come true which is to be educators for children in Sabah. Hence, the dilemma..parents or passion?I believe in this case, parents come first...

I got the chance to talk to one of my friend's mother while waiting for her to settle things for the flight. She expressed her little concern of her daughter going to Sabah and her indignation towards the primary teachers who are sent to Sabah. I can see that she is a worried mother who wants some justice for her daughter. I know that all mothers are like that. They will be reluctant to let their 'anak dara' to go to teach in a place that they barely know, and some more in Sabah.I was also a bit frustrated when I was told that they still do not know which school or which part of Kota Marudu that they will be teaching and living. They will only know the details once they are in Kota Kinabalu or maybe Kota Marudu. So, can you imagine how worried the parents are?

I think that my friends who had decided to take the challenge to go for posting in Sabah deserve my highest respect. They are a bunch of people who are very positive indeed..yes, I know they are verrrrrrryyy posssitiveeeeeeee!~u go girlsss! I can see that they already look like great teachers in the making..with the baju kurung, the 'teacher' walk, the smile, thhe positive attitude, the enthusiasm and the preparation(one of them actually bought some puppets and brought along puppet stages to be used for teaching...awesome!~)...what else can i say...Owh, they will be great and inspirational teachers!~they are products of IPBA and their respective overseas universities.they will make us (IPBARIANS) very proud!!!

happy packing to friends who are going to other destinations in Sabah like Sandakan,Semporna,Tawau, and others..please take care of yourself, hope that you can settle down (find a good and comfortable place to stay),always be motivated for you will motivate your students (a reminder for myself), remember, there is always a silver lining in every cloud..please keep in touch and may Allah bless us always!~

happy and not so happy....

kak yu had delivered a super cute and adorable baby girl on the 30th of Dec.This cutie by the name of Wan Alayna Humaira is an eye candy for all of us since then. She has the most attention that a baby could ever get from anyone n we are blessed with her presence in this family..welcome to the world princess!

Wan Alayna Humaira, the name given by her parents that means a pink princess(puteri yg kemerah-merahan).As kak yu said,'kalo tak cerah,dh kne tukar nama la ni' heheh..alhmdlah,she is a pink princess indeed..gebu and cute gerammmmmmmmm...i will posted her pictures later.she has loads of pics!!

I thank Allah for making all this happened with good ending..kak yu had delivered safely via Caesarean, although there were some hiccups but alhmdlah, evrythng went fine.the baby is healthy so as the mommy..surely,Allah has blessed us with wonderful things and I really thanked Allah for the happiness that He has bring into our life..

they came home after 3 days staying at hospital.the baby's skin is slightly yellow then, indicating the sign of jaundice..the doctor has given his advised to place the baby directly under morning sunlight to prevent the yellowness of the skin from getting worse.the doctor is quite traditional I guess by looking at his advice..cool aye..modern but also traditional..nice~

howevr, aftr two days at home, the baby had shown some symptoms for fever and her jaundice has gotten worse too. So,she was sent to hsptl for check-up and unfortunately she has to be warded because of fever and jaundice.we were sorry and worried for her as we have realized that we were the cause for her getting ill.mak, nada, abg and siti had spread our bacteria to the baby due to our fever, cough and flu that have not yet recovering...so,the air was not so healthy and fresh for a newborn..poor baby!

so,for now she is still in the hsptl and we cn't wait for her to be back home.everyone is praying hard for her good health and hopefully baby alayna will get well soon!

get together

assalamualaikum and hi everyone~

for the past two days,my home has more noise, and more chaotic, and full of warmth because ALL of Encik Fadzil and Puan Mariam's clan is in the house.yeay!! kak yu,kak ti,kak da,abg and siti are together again..the five of us have not been able to be together for quite some time..like for one year or so..owh, that's a long time aye...yaa,kak yu has her own family but she does come back often especially during school break..kak ti has just celebrated her first wedding anniversary.she lives nearby and hence never spend a night ever since she got married here..well, i made up the reason myself..she might have her own reasons...well, abg and siti always come back home, as frequent as they can as their colleges are not that far and as a matter of fact, they come back home every weekend..huhuu..if not,no weekly allowance for them(parents power!) that explains for the frequent homecoming ppl..no?
now, i am more than happy to see all faces here in my home(sounds like a title of a song)..thanks to school break and abg jazry's outstation tht made kak ti spends some nights at home..toche toche..

mak is the most excited person..she cooked our favorite food eventhough she was tired from work..she joined us watching television at our not-so-big TV area that is cramped with not-so-small people.we joke, laugh, insult, tease one another, make faces, grumble, throw tantrum and we keep one another company..yeah,we do all that and still doing it..we can be mad at them and yet we love them so much,we can be so annoyed by just looking at them and we love them again the next seconds..we can love and hate them simultaneously..i tell you, it is like a love-hate relationship..almost..

ok,i'm better off now.dinner is served..owh yes, just a friendly reminder to all my muslim friends that December 29 is Awal Muharam..as we are celebrating new year 2009, I guess it is equally important (or more) for us to remember this date as it begins a new chapter in our life..

do you have your own New Year's resolution?

taaaaa~

assalamualaikum and kia ora...

well...how should i start this..it has been agggggessssss since i write anything in this blog..shall we keep aside all the excuses and just let my not-so-creative juices and rusty writing skill flow right now (itu pn klo flow..pardon the incoherent ideas in advance).anyhow,i have completed my final year of study, done with BTN, KISSM (kursus induksi sistem saraan malaysia) and now waiting patiently for posting to be out.

i am really really REALLY anxious to know where i will be posted nxt year..if i were destined to be an educator in sabah or sarawak, i'll accept it with open heart and mind.i will be fine.positive thinking is the best thng that wl keep me going. having a school in a remote area, somewhere in the jungle is somehow interstng and i shld experience it myself..do it now while u r young nada! like wht cikgu kamar said in one lecture during KISSM...

'kamu tau tak..seronok ngajar kt sabah n sarawak..boleh naik bot gi skolah..' hahahhaha, that sounds fun tho..'

sronok, buat ape2 pn kne sronok, baru kite enjoy n tak rse berat hati nak buat. ustaz amiyamin said when he told us about the challenges that we will face as freshies in school.
he is absolutely right about it. true, we should enjoy evrthng that we do and do it as sincerely as possible. No doubt, only Allah can measure our sincerity and therefore do your best, give your best and everything THE BEST (within your capability and ability of course)
i think i am ready mentally to be in school and give my service to the students. Physically..hurmm,the time is yet to come for me to savour the bittersweet experience in school. we'll see what they will offer me and how i handle the situation..using my IQ, EQ and SQ...yess,time to balance up everythng, face the situation calmly and use all these quotients to handle thngs professionally.

the year 2009 that wl be approachng in two weeks time has a lot to offer. Lots of surprises, adrenaline rush, physical and mental challenge in school and what not. i can foresee things tht i will face based on my teaching practice in SMK Hillcrest.i wonder what type of stdnts would it be in the school that i wl b teaching?how are the teachers..are they friendly?are they helpful?wl they bully me?how about the staffs..are thy grumpy and strict or kind and lovely?wl thy process my 'pelantikan jwtan' early so tht i can get my salary asap? fiuhhhhhhhh...too many questions in my head that it wl explode because of uncertainty...be patient nada..sabar2..u wl face it in no time..time flies and the next thng you know..tmrow is your first day in school!!!  horror ke nak rse excited?? you choose nada~
